And the winner is… New awards for recruitment industry

-

A new, free to enter annual awards and ranking scheme has been launched to recognise and reward high performing recruitment agencies in the UK.

The BestFor Recruitment Awards are open to all national and regional recruitment agencies, which operate in a variety of sectors, across all areas of recruitment. Agencies are not limited on how many categories they can enter.

Who are the leading agencies when it comes to specific areas of recruitment? Which agencies are best for recruiting into Executive positions? Which are best for IT positions? Who are the leading agencies in the Midlands? These are the key questions that the BestFor awards will answer within the industry.

Charlotte Bell, Managing Director of Bell Cornwall Recruitment, said: “I was very excited when I heard about BestFor Recruitment. The opportunity to be recognised for all our hard work, whilst generating new business leads, is something that appeals to us.”

Each entrant will be required to submit an online application for assessment by an independent judging panel and winners will be announced in March 2013. The closing date for entries is 15th February 2013.

Not only will the winners receive Gold, Silver or Bronze standard emblems, but they will also be added to the BestFor Recruitment ranking table, allowing companies to search for recruitment agencies by region or sector.

Chris Meaney, spokesman from BestFor Recruitment, said: “There are currently a large number of recruitment agencies in the market. Companies need to be able to assess which recruitment agency is best to find them the staff they need. This is where BestFor Recruitment will benefit both agencies and companies seeking to recruit.

“A ranking with BestFor Recruitment provides agencies with increased exposure to potential clients, as well as recognition for their skills. In turn, companies will be able to find and contact the leading recruitment agencies in each region or sector.”

While it is free to enter the awards, there will be an administration fee for winning agencies (£195 for 1 award, £375 for 2 awards, £495 for 3 awards or £595 for 4 or more awards). This will enable you to have your details uploaded to the BestFor Recruitment site and provide free use of the BestFor Recruitment award emblem for your own agency marketing material.

This the second industry award ranking service created by BestFor Rankings following the inaugural BestFor PR awards. BestforPR.co.uk which launched earlier in 2012, has attracted thousands of site visitors, lists all successful agencies and had generated a number of new leads of agencies.
