Speakers announced for the Innovation in Recruitment Summit 2013

Symposium Events  is delighted to announce the first confirmed speakers for  the Innovation in Recruitment conference taking place on Tuesday 19th September. The expert speaker panel will be sharing experiences and insights on the latest innovations they have implemented to improve their recruitment strategies.

Confirmed speakers to date include: Chris Taylor the  Talent Acquisition Manager at SABMiller, who asks can recruitment be a strategic partner? – a subject close to Chris’s heart. He will be examining how the recruitment role is maturing and the steps recruiters can take to make a better contribution to Career Development activities, competency frameworks, succession planning, building talent pipelines.

Matthew Yates, the lead resourcing business partner  at Barclays Bank, will be co-presenting with his colleague Susan Firbank the UKRBB Resourcing, Barclays Bank Plc. Together they will be talking about the major transformation the recruitment function at Barclays are currently undertaking, the culture change they have implemented in the business and the new technologies they have deployed, such as mobile and video, to improve talent attraction and recruitment processes

Andrew Wilson the HR & Resourcing Business Partner, Human Resources at Visa Europe will be sharing how Visa has hugely improved delivery and customer satisfaction of their provider through their partnership approach.

And finally Ashley Hever will also be joining the panel. Ashley is the  European Talent Acquisition Manager at  Enterprise Rent-A-Car and he has implemented an innovative social media attraction strategy which includes, Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter, blogging and a revamp of their talent acquisition website.
