New ‘Managing Employee Relations’ seminar

HR professionals are being urged to register for a new Managing Employee Relations seminar, which will fully equip them to tackle challenges being thrown up by the post-recession industrial relations landscape.

The seminar is being run by EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, in various locations across the UK. It will give attendees expert insight into the current industrial relations landscape and provide them with a pragmatic approach to managing effective relationships with Trade Unions. Attendees will also hear from ACAS to understand what challenges it anticipates for the coming year and the legal framework regarding union recognition and industrial action.

The full day programme includes sessions on issues such as the living wage, the growing use of social media, union representation, ACAS’ changing role in the new industrial relations climate and practical guidance for handling industrial action

The course is designed to meet the needs of anyone who works with Trade Unions or has an interest in industrial relations. This includes HR managers and directors, operations managers and directors, MDs and CEOs.
