Iain McMath: Why parents should sign up to childcare vouchers

-

As we enter a new year, it’s vital that as many parents and employers as possible are made aware of the fast-approaching changes to the tax treatment of childcare vouchers, due in April.

To demonstrate our commitment to spreading the word, we have set up a dedicated website, a Facebook group and have produced an informative podcast, available on iTunes. In this broadcast, Iain McMath, our managing director, explain the reason why parents should sign up to childcare vouchers before April 2011.

In effect, higher rate tax payers will lose out if they sign-up after 5th April 2011 as the tax exemptions will be the same base rate for all employees. April is fast approaching and employers should be making their staff aware of these changes, so feel free to forward the podcast to friends, colleagues and family. The clock is ticking!
