Your Trainer: Edwin Cooke
Edwin is an engaging and dynamic professional with a unique blend of entrepreneurial and corporate experience, making him exceptionally well-placed to explore the implications of AI in HR. Over the past two years, Edwin has leveraged AI in his e-commerce business to enhance operational efficiency, streamline sales processes, and elevate the customer experience, including managing customer service challenges.
Prior to running his own business, Edwin built a robust career in IT and electronics with blue-chip companies such as De La Rue, Brother International Europe, and RAC. His roles included IT Business Analysis, Project Management, and Line Management, giving him a deep understanding of systems, processes, and people management.
With a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence earned in 1992/93 and over three decades of industry insights, Edwin brings a nuanced perspective on AI’s evolution and its practical applications, as well as more subtle challenges like ethics, bias, and workforce transformation.
