J.P. Morgan enhances its employee benefits scheme with the introduction of Allianz Global Assistance

Allianz Global Assistance in the UK has won a new contract with J.P. Morgan to further strengthen its employee benefits scheme. Under the new agreement, Allianz Global Assistance is providing its Insured Family Homecare product to J.P. Morgan employees and their loved ones. Insured Family Homecare offers up to six weeks of assistance at home in the event of an accident or unforeseen illness, including personal care, domestic help, meal preparation and transport to and from the hospital. The scheme will go live from 1 April 2013.

As a leader in financial services, J.P. Morgan offers solutions to clients in more than 100 countries, and has been helping them do business and manage their wealth for over 200 years. Through its new partnership with Allianz Global Assistance, J.P. Morgan will be offering Insured Family Homecare to all of its 14,000 UK based permanent employees. The product also offers optional extensions to cover the employee’s partner and parents.

“We have a worldwide reputation for putting our clients first, but as a leading employer in the UK our focus on the needs of our employees is equally important,” explains Adam Brooke, Employee Benefits Manager (UK) at J.P. Morgan. “We are always looking for ways to enhance our employee benefits scheme, ensuring we continue to attract and retain top talent. Insured Family Homecare brings our employees and their closest family access to a new level of cover and added peace of mind when they need it most.”

Last year Allianz Global Assistance in the UK signed the contract to provide Insured Family Homecare to clients of global employee benefit solutions provider, Vebnet, with the product being the first of its kind. It was from this business that the product was also developed for J.P. Morgan.
