What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format which enables the simple distribution of online content. HRreview offers you the chance to access the very latest HR news stories using this format in conjunction with a downloaded RSS reader, via a web-based RSS program, or through the latest web browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox.
How do I use it?
To use an RSS feed you simply need a RSS reader. If you are currently using Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox 2 or Safari you have RSS functionality already. Otherwise, Google Directory has a comprehensive list of RSS readers of various types and the BBC offers some useful guidance on how to start using RSS feeds.
Once a reader is downloaded all you need to do is click on the feed buttons below and follow the instructions on your RSS reader to access the headlines.
RSS feeds can also be integrated into website or intranet pages to provide a "latest news" section. If used in this way, the feed must be accompanied by the words "Latest news from HRreview". Use of this service is completely free of charge
